Cleveland Shooting: One Teen Killed, Two Others Injured

Cleveland authorities are investigating a shooting on the city’s west side that left one teen dead and two others injured on Tuesday afternoon.

Police responded to reports of gunfire in the 3100 block of West 46th Street on March 24, discovering three teenagers with gunshot wounds. Officers provided immediate aid until emergency medical services arrived, and all three victims were transported to MetroHealth Medical Center.

Ecaurion Wymes, 18, later died from his injuries, the only fatality in the incident. The two other teenagers remain hospitalized, though their conditions have not been publicly disclosed.

The circumstances leading to the shooting are still under investigation, and no suspects have been identified. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Community members remembered Wymes as a bright, energetic young man with dreams for his future. His death, occurring just as he was entering adulthood, has left family and friends grieving. His family has requested privacy during this difficult time.
