Andrea Montoya Obituary, Death: Beloved Resident Has Died

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we remember the life of Andrea Montoya, a beloved alumna of St. Francis High School (Class of 2025). Andrea’s passing has left a deep and painful void within her family, friends, and the entire school community. She was a vibrant and cherished presence whose kindness, warmth, and uplifting spirit touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

During her time at St. Francis, Andrea distinguished herself not only through her dedication to her studies but also through the compassion and positivity she shared with others. She approached her education with genuine curiosity and enthusiasm, always striving to grow while encouraging those around her to do the same. Her generosity of spirit and her ability to lift others made her a source of inspiration within the classroom and beyond.

Andrea’s presence could be felt throughout the school—in the hallways filled with laughter, in the classrooms where she contributed thoughtfully, and in the many moments of connection she shared with her peers and teachers. She had a natural ability to bring joy to others, creating lasting memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of her classmates, mentors, and friends.

As the community comes together to honor her life, a viewing and rosary will be held in her memory, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick’s Church, with burial to follow. In support of Andrea’s family and to allow students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to grieve and pay their respects, the school will observe a day of closure.

Though Andrea’s life was far too short, the impact she made is immeasurable. Her legacy lives on in the kindness she showed, the friendships she built, and the love she shared so freely. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the light she brought into the world and the example she set for others.

May her memory continue to inspire all who knew her to live with compassion, joy, and purpose.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.
