Matt Klenk Ambridge, Obituary Pennsylvania Death: Beloved Resident Has Died
It is with profound sorrow that we honor the life of Matthew ‘Matt’ Klenk, a devoted pastor, friend, and cherished member of the community, whose passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of his family, congregation, and all who were touched by his kindness and faith.
Pastor Matt faithfully served as Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church Ambridge and Grace Bible Church New Brighton, dedicating his life to teaching the Gospel and sharing the love of Christ. His ministry extended beyond the pulpit through his work with Church Army USA, where he brought compassion and support to countless individuals in need.
Known as a true man of God, Matt lived his faith daily with humility, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to serving others. He had a remarkable gift for meeting people where they were, offering encouragement, hope, and practical assistance. Through sermons, one-on-one guidance, and community outreach, he touched lives in ways that left lasting impressions of love and care.
Pastor Matt’s service to the community was especially profound. From feeding programs to local outreach initiatives, he showed the essence of selfless giving—working tirelessly without expectation of recognition. His presence throughout Ambridge, particularly on 11th Street, became a beacon of hope, kindness, and faith for many who sought comfort, guidance, or simply a listening ear.
Beyond his ministry, Matt was a loyal and genuine friend, known for his warmth, humor, and ability to inspire those around him. He encouraged personal growth, faith, and compassion, leaving a legacy not only of spiritual guidance but of deep human connection.
He is survived by his beloved daughter Bella, his sister Patty Klenk Rohm, and cousins Carol Ann and Jacqueline Hesselman Hudson. His love for his family was evident in every action, and his legacy lives on through them and the countless lives he touched.
As the Beaver County community mourns, it also celebrates a life lived with purpose, love, and devotion. Pastor Matt exemplified what it means to “fight the good fight” and leaves behind a lasting legacy of faith, service, and compassion.
To his family, congregation, and all who loved him, we extend our deepest condolences. May you find comfort in each other and strength in the enduring impact of his life.
Rest in peace, Pastor Matt Klenk. Your faith, service, and love will never be forgotten.
