According to the South Holland Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 11:09 p.m. to the intersection of 159th Street and Van Drunen Road after receiving an iPhone crash detection alert. Upon arrival, they discovered Bria had struck a concrete parking barrier and was pronounced deceased at the scene. A male passenger, Terrell Jennings, 47, of Country Club Hills, was transported to Ingalls Memorial Hospital, where he later died. Authorities confirmed no other vehicles were involved, and there were no witnesses.

Bria was known for her vibrant spirit, warmth, and kindness. She brought joy and comfort to family gatherings, neighborhood events, and the lives of those around her. Her energy, generosity, and positive presence left an enduring mark on her community, and she will be remembered as a cherished daughter, friend, and neighbor.
